On XX/XX/scrub> 2025, I received a call from Columbia Debt Recovery LLC ( Genesis Credit ) regarding an alleged apartment debt for {$5400.00} from XX/XX/XXXXat XXXX XXXX. During the call, the representative, XXXX, used intimidation tactics to pressure me into making a payment. He threatened wage garnishment if I did not pay, despite there being no court judgment against me. He claimed that it would be difficult for me to find housing with this debt on my credit report, which felt like an intimidation tactic. He pressured me into providing my bank account information, even after I stated that I did not feel comfortable giving it over the phone. He also stated that if I did not agree to payments, they would add more interest to the balance.
