COMPLAINT NARRATIVE While I was applying for XXXX in XXXX, I fell behind on my mortgage. I reached out to the federal mortgage assistance program for help. I began working with them in XX/XX/XXXX. When I completed the application, I included some type of foreclosure Id received from my local sheriffs office. My point of contact was XXXX XXXX. At the beginning of the application process I emailed her to let her know my concern about this unusual foreclosure I had included with the documents. After the application had been completed and the document submitted, I continue to email XXXX XXXX, and call customer service to make sure everything was OK. I stayed in touch by phone and email frequently. I was finally approved, but there wasnt enough funding available to bring my mortgage XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Page 1 of 3 current. The maximum amount they pay out is {$40000.00} and I had help during Covid. When I realized there was a shortage, I reached out to our local agency housing resources of XXXX Colorado. I spoke with XXXX XXXX who Id worked with previously I let him know the situation and he was going to help me make up the difference between the federal mortgage assistance program. It was about {$2000.00} or so. This all happened in XX/XX/XXXX. At that time I received another notice about some type of foreclosure on my home so I called my mortgage company. Shellpoint Mortgage told me to contact the federal mortgage assistance program who I was working with to have them help me and I did that. At this time, I was also working with XXXX XXXX from housing resources of XXXX Colorado and he told me that there was no foreclosure on my home. I expressed my concern and he assured me. Neither the federal mortgage assistance program or housing resources of XXXX Colorado helped me address this unusual foreclosure that I had no idea what it was. I trusted them 100 % to help me. I have all of the emails between myself and the representative at federal mortgage assistance program.
