... I'm writing to you about my current situation with CAPITAL One Auto, a car loan that I obtained in 2020... I was doing well making my payments on time for a while and then I had an hardship which had a great impact on me finanacially being able to make the payments. I did received a few extensions to assit me getting back on track. During this time I was able to get back on track for a while to the point of paying {$22000.00}. But as we know life happens and that is exactly what had happend to me and my car was eventually repossed but I was able to get my car back five days later. Buring this timeframe on my credit reportd Capital One was reporting as a " Charged Off Account ''. As we know charged off accounts are essentilaly paid and or given credit for by the IRS. Therefore it is not meant for, me to pay twice, BUT CAPITAL One Auto, removed the " charged off " account to an active account showing that I still owe {$25000.00}, this double the amount. I am aware of my interest but it s like they took my {$22000.00} that I invested, then charged my account off and then reinstated to now showing I still owe {$25.00}, XXXX, which is over-kill. I am simply asking is the legal, which I feel that its not and how can this be addressed? I apppreciate any assistance/ guidiance in this overwhelming experience. XXXX XXXX Thank You
