Complaint against : XXXX XXXX XXXX Jefferson Capital LLC The way to describe what happened with the reason for me to file this complaint with the FTC is that someone has opened up or used my credit to open up lines of credits to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and opened up multiple lines of services using my personal information, SSN, or credit/banking information to do so. The complaint comes as I have seen this added to my current credit reporting where it shows a line of credit was opened up not by myself but yet by someone else without my permission, knowledge or consent sometime between the year XXXX. I have never applied for a line of credit for a cell phone or any other services for a line of credit through XXXX XXXX and would not ever need services as I am already in a family plan with my family which includes my parents and have never needed to apply or shop carriers for these types of services. The amount of the line of credit is substantial, which includes the amount of {$4200.00} which has now been sent to some debt collector company called Jefferson Capital Systems LLC which I have no affiliation. This is fraud/identity theft and I am not sure how someone got my information and used it to commit this type of act against me however this is now effecting my credit and potential to get any other credit line offerings. Please help. Thank you.
