They are falsely reporting late payments on my XXXX XXXX XXXX account ( Account # XXXX ) even though the payment status clearly shows Paid as Agreed. How is that even possible? XXXX and XXXX are reporting this account correctly, but Equifax is standing alone in misrepresenting my payment history. Under 15 USC 1681e ( b ), Equifax is required by law to ensure maximum possible accuracy in consumer reports. But instead, theyre violating this obligation by reporting late payments that never happened. This false information is actively damaging my credit and needs to be corrected immediately. I never missed any payments, yet Equifax is wrongly listing late payments for XXXX and XX/XX/year>. If the other bureaus can get it right, why cant Equifax?
