i only authorized the car dealership to run my credit report and they allowed a lot of banks to pull my credit, and my score went down and now I'm having a hard time getting approvals because of too many inquiries. I did not authorize any bank, credit unions or other sources to my credit. i only gave permission to the car dealership itself. I requested all hard inquiries be removed and they responded with a few days with enquiries will remain on record for certain amount of years, that tells me they did not try to investigate the matter as it would take them a while to contact them all so I want them removed asap from all credit report agencies.
