This dispute is in reference to a credit card I had with XXXX issued through XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/2024 I made a payment of {$710.00} ( transaction # XXXX ) to get my account to a XXXX balance, immediately I realized I underpaid by XXXX cents, upon attempting to pay the XXXX cents their system would only take a minimum payment of {$3.00}, so I paid the extra {$3.00}, ( transaction # : XXXX ) which brought my total payment of {$710.00}. I contacted XXXX and explained that I made a payment to conclude my balance and need to close my account because I no longer wish to do business with their fraudulent company. I was assured that my account showed a {$0.00} balance, I requested a letter to verify this. and was sent a letter showing the XXXX balance right away. XXXX owes me {$2.00} but has since been reporting to all 3 credit bureaus that I owe them {$2.00} and has been charging me interest rate and bogus late fees on the {$2.00} that they owe me. They have reported that I am over 3 months late which is bogus, fraudulent, and inaccurate reporting. XXXX and XXXX XXXX has made a havoc of my credit report and has caused me a lot of emotional grief over their lies, and fraudulent reporting. I still have the email with the attached letter proving the XXXX balance which I have attached to this complaint.
