Consumer Narrative

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IA XXXX Subject : Formal Complaint Against Lexis Nexis for Reporting False and Inaccurate Information Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau , I am filing a formal complaint against Lexis Nexis for furnishing false and inaccurate information on my credit report in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and failing to correct these errors upon request. Despite my good faith efforts to dispute these inaccuracies directly with the creditor, the information remains on my report and is negatively affecting personal credit standing. There were no Permissible purposes of consumer reports according to 15 U.S.C. 1681b this was just thrown on my report it was not verified with the court in order figure out when this occurred, because I asked the Bankruptcy court about what is on my report and requested, they send it in writing that they did not share any information with the creditors, therefore this is a form of identity theft. The information is not any relation to my personal credit these are business debts. There are multiple addresses on this account as well that have nothing to do with me. I have not and do not reside in any of these places. Then there are other Items listed that were placed in a discharge by the Department of Education. Which was almost XXXX dollars of discharged information prior to these fraudulent claims. Details of the Complaint : Creditor Name : Lexis Nexis Account Number : XXXX Inaccurate Information : Bankruptcy listed on personal credit without even supplying an amount that is discharged! I was confused when I was told this by a dealership. I started receiving all these items in the mail, due to their negligence of misinformation of a fricking bankruptcy. o Incorrect Address ( es ) : ALL Addresses are incorrect/invalid, I can not receive mail to any listed addresss XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Other Errors : A driving record of a listed Volkswagon vin number XXXX. I do not have a XXXX nor a court record for a police report # XXXX Listed are Insurance companies and a credit card comapny I do not have and have no affiliation with none of these companies, some are even recent. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXA ( I do not have a credit card ) There are all these different names there is only one name for my personal use XXXX : XXXX. ALL emails are not mine there is so much false and misleading information on this report it is ridiculous. If this company is reporting information on my report and so much inaccuracies imagine how deeply this has disrupted my living arrangements. I have viewed this months ago and just did not know where to start. Creditors Response : The creditor states they needed to verify me, yet there was NO need of verification while placing all this misinformation on the accounts and causing all types disruptions in my life. FCRA Violations Committed by the Creditor : 1. Failure to Correct Inaccurate Information Under FCRA Section 623, furnishers of credit information are required to investigate and correct any disputed errors. 2. Harm to My Creditworthiness The presence of these inaccuracies has negatively impacted my ability to obtain credit. I have enclosed supporting documentation, including a copy of my credit report with the disputed items, and additional evidence that supports my claim. I respectfully request the CFPBs intervention in this matter to ensure the immediate removal of the inaccurate information from my credit report. Additionally, I ask that the creditor be held accountable for their failure to comply with the FCRA. I would like to see all inaccuracies removed immediately. My information has been compromised and according to 605B ( 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ) the FCRA requires this information be blocked. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response. Please notify me of any updates regarding this complaint. Sincerely, XXXX : XXXX
