Consumer Narrative

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NV XXXX XXXX Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Subject : Notice of Dispute Regarding Inaccurate and Unverifiable Information on My Credit Report Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am formally submitting this complaint against Experian through the CFPB regarding their failure to conduct a proper and thorough investigation into inaccurate and unverifiable information on my credit report. This is my third dispute concerning this matter. Despite my previous two formal requests for an investigation, Experian has continued to report erroneous information without properly verifying its accuracy. Specifically, I am disputing the following account : **Creditor Name : ** XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX **Account Number : ** XXXX Experian has failed to comply with its obligation under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) to conduct a reasonable investigation into my disputes. The inaccurate and erroneous information contained within this account has negatively impacted my credit profile. As proof, I have attached screenshots of the incorrect data and details regarding the inaccuracies that Experian has refused to correct. Additionally, Experian is illegally re-aging this account by reporting a " charge off '' status every single month. A charged-off account should not continue to be reported with a " charge off '' status on a monthly basis. By doing so, Experian is improperly extending the statute of limitations for when the account is scheduled to be removed from my credit report. This illegal practice makes the charged-off account appear newer each month, unfairly damaging my credit. Furthermore, Experian is depriving me of the opportunity for the account to be removed as mandated by law when the time period expires. I demand that Experian immediately delete this account from my credit report, as it contains unverifiable and erroneous information. Should Experian fail to take corrective action and remove this account from my report, I will be left with no choice but to pursue legal action to enforce my rights under the FCRA. I trust that the CFPB will take my complaint seriously and ensure that Experian complies with its legal obligations. Please provide written confirmation of the actions taken to resolve this matter at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX
