I was denied part of a fraud claim by Wells Fargo Bank. On XX/XX/year> I was contacted via text from Wells Fargo asking to verify a XXXX transaction. I responded no. I then immediately called Wells Fargo to notify them that this was not an authorized transaction. I spent 24 minutes on the phone ( see attached photo of phone record ) confirming that my account had been compromised and no transactions after the The XXXX of XXXX were authorized. I went into Wells Fargo Bank on XX/XX/XXXX, which was the first appointment I could get, to follow up and withdraw funds in order to open another account. I was told at that time that there was not even a hold placed on my account despite having called specifically to do so. At this time I was notified that several transactions were posted after my initial call. I spoke with the Wells Fargo fraud department from the bank with a banker present and was told " you're right. This should not happen ''. Wells Fargo reimbursed all of the transactions from XX/XX/XXXX except one. Despite the fact that the transaction was to the same party that I specifically notified them was not authorized. ( See attached photos ) I have contacted Wells Fargo and they continue to delay sending me information regarding this denied claim. I have spoken to an attorney in regards to filing a lawsuit. I am hoping to resolve this matter without having to do that
