Experian has been receiving dispute requests for over six months and not taken them seriourly. My credit report has been recently pulled to find a new rental for my home in both XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I have immediately denied HOUSING in both cities becuase of credit card debt listed on my report that is : a ) several years old b ) settled and CURRENT c ) illegally reported ( third party debt collectors who do not have permission to own debt ) d ) the result of medical bills Although I stated all these facts when I disputed my report, all they did was " verify '' the accounts and not look into whether they were actually legal, or had any affect on my ability to pay rent and keep a roof over my head ( they do not ). As I said, all my debt is being serviced ( through XXXX ). My lease is up and my apartment building suffered an electrical fire on XXXX. I have to move. I work in a job where I am paid enough to cover rent for the properties I am applying for and I am about to befcome homeless becuase serviced debt remains on my reports and none of the bureaus, or the lenders directly are bothering to listen to me, or do their due diligence to help and allow me to move forward with my life. Housing is a basic human need and I am being denied it. Continuously. I have a perfectly reasonable credit score ( XXXX XXXX despite the nefarious reporting ) and years of flawless payment history, however, I can not RENT AN APARTMENT.
