To : Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX : Dispute of Hard Inquiry on Credit Report Dear CFPB, I am writing to dispute an hard inquiry that appears on my credit report. The inquiry in question is from TD Bank and was made on XX/XX/year>. I believe this inquiry is incorrect and should be removed from my report. I disputed it with TD Bank and they resolved it in my favor however until now that inquiry still appears in my credit report. I contacted XXXX as well but they said they haven't received any TD Bank request to delete that hard inquiry. I tried to explain and provide the letter I got from TD Bank but they explained me that they have to receive the deletion request from the financial institution ( in this case TD Bank ), so right now, TD Bank says they requested to delete the hard inquiry to XXXX and XXXX says they haven't received anything from TD Bank. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), I am requesting that this inquiry be investigated and corrected as soon as possible. I have attached a copy of my credit report with the inquiry circled ( page XXXX ) and supporting documents that show why this inquiry is incorrect. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
