Nonetheless, the company has now added new, additional interest of {$22.00} PLUS INTEREST on the interest, totaling {$25.00}. I paid the company by check with a restrictive endorsement saying the payment was in full satisfaction of any amount owing. The company cashed the check contrary to the restrictive endorsement. Thus, the company 's action is illegal in at least 2 new ways. This is in addition to its violations of the Truth in Lending Law and the NY General Obligations Law.
