XXXX XXXXr , SSN : XXXX, Date of Birth:XXXX, This CFPB complaint has been filed to request pursuant to FCRA 605B ( 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ) that you, the Transunion credit reporting agency provide the method of verification for items disputed in my recent complaint. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681i ), I have the right to know the methods and sources used to verify the disputed information on my credit report. Please provide the following within 4 days of receipt of this letter : The source ( s ) of information used to verify the disputed items. Documentation or evidence supporting the verification. A detailed explanation of your verification process. If you are unable to provide this, I request that the items in question be immediately deleted from my credit report, as required under FCRA 611 for unverifiable information. Non-compliance will result in legal action for willful and negligent violations of the FCRA. I have attached a copy of the items claimed to be verified, along with my previous FTC report.
