I purchased a car from a XXXX dealership on XX/XX/XXXX. I purchased the car with tag and registration fees, so I thought. My temporary license plate expired on XX/XX/XXXX. I noticed that the date was coming close, and I called the dealership to ask what was taking so long for my license plate. They told me that I would need to go to the tag office for an extension. After driving on the extension temporary license plate, I saw it was going to expire again. This was 90 days after XXXX XXXX. Still, I haven't received a tag. So, in my dissatisfaction I called the dealership and asked for an explanation. They told me there was a mistake in the title and the registration process. So why should I have to pay for that mistake when I was trusting they would do their due diligence to register my new car. I ended up taking the car back to the dealership and speaking to a XXXX who would not resolve my situation even disrespecting me as a person. I never want to do business with this dealership again. The car was not worth having to deal with the stress while having to go back and forth with the dealership. I have been trying for months to resolve this issue but to my luck I am treated as a XXXX individual. In my frustration I took the car back to the dealership because I was dissatisfied with the way they handled my situation. I demanded a refund because the amount of time it took for them to register the car. Even, allowing me XXXX XXXX on an expired tag. The dealership threatened me with a repossession after dropping the car off. So, I called the lending company that the dealership used for the financing on the car and explained the situation. I asked if they have received the title, and they told me that they had none. They reposed the car in the month of XXXX and sent me a letter on XXXX XXXX saying the car would be sold at an auction sometime after XXXX XXXX that was the last I heard from the lending company. Now as of XX/XX/XXXX I have late payments on my credit and XXXX accredited to my loan. I assumed the car was sold. The lending company never sent me a notice of these payments, or the car being sold. The biggest problem I am having is that since I purchased the car in XXXX XXXX the lending company Valley National Bank has not received a title for the car. When I spoke to someone at valley national bank, they told me that the car was just sitting because it can't even be sold with a repossession because there is no title to put the repo on. Now I'm having to face credit hits and immense amount of pain and suffering to my life because of these people who are breaking laws and getting away with it. Please help me receive justice. I would like nothing else but to eliminate my involvement with both of these companies and have my credit restored.
