I had a XXXX credit card through XXXX XXXX many years ago. I used the card and maintained payments but one day it showed as if I owed the full amount then over the amount of credit. I stopped paying as I tried to figure it out with XXXX. Then the card was sent to collections. Midland Credit Management bought the account and began calling me at all hours, emailing all the time. At one time to try and make it all stop I enrolled in a payment plan. The debt was about {$1200.00} at that point. I paid more than {$300.00} yet the debt wasn't reflecting that. It remained over {$1000.00}. I stopped paying after trying to communicate with Midland Credit Management and being ignored. That was a year ago. Now once again they are sending me emails constantly offering a low one time payment option to clear the debt. Yet the offer doesn't exist as they are asking me to pay {$1000.00}. This isn't a reduced amount and doesn't reflect any payments made in the past either. They've stated before in emails no late fees so how is the debt increasing? I tried to contact them to ask why no actual reduced debt offer has been given but only got an automated reply with a copy of the message I sent through their website. They have been emailing me nonstop threatening legal action. This is the second account with them that they have done this. In the past they sued me for another debt and pulled from my bank account an excess of the debt they claimed I owed even after I stated that was a fraudulent debt. With their lawsuit on the first debt they collected twice on the debt forcing me to pay a debt they never substantiated and their lawyer fees. I do not want this to happen a second time but they refuse to give me details on a reduced payment option or proof the debt is mine. They jumped right to we will sue. The last time they were able to successfully issue levy on all the funds in my XXXX XXXX XXXX Checking and XXXX account. This was on XX/XX/year> 2023
