My loan was paid off XX/XX/XXXX and I received a paper stamped lien release then. In XX/XX/XXXX I went to sell my vehicle and Wisconsin law had changed to only electronic lien release. DMV told me that Nissan should be able to do in minutes. I called Nissan on XX/XX/XXXX 2 times. Called XX/XX/XXXX XXXX times, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX ( that was the first time I was able to speak to supervisor ), XX/XX/XXXX 2 times. In all of those phone calls, I never once got a straight answer. I still dont have the release. I begged several times to talk to supervisors and I was denied. I was lied to multiple times, athird with, misled and felt I was treated very poorly. I was not given any explanations or time frame even after I explained that I was moving out of state and was on a strict timeframe. I was also in contact with WI DMV who were appalled that Nissan was not taking care of this and the DMVs only solution was that I would have to take Nissan to court to get the lien released that was already done almost a year ago, just now need electronically. I still have no resolution and lost the sale of my vehicle due to their negligence and incompetence therefore costing me {$17000.00} and a whole lot of stress.
