I was a customer of ING Direct, I had a CD with them as well as savings account. At one point ING Direct Bank was acquired by Capital One Bank. I kept depositing money into this account and using this account with Capital One. I was recently printing out statements and noticed my interest rate on my savings account was only 0.3 % this seemed much too low. I did a search and found that Capital One has another savings account not associated with ING direct and the interest rate is 10 times higher. from my log in page there is no hint this product exists, only from link used with other search engine. They hid this product and kept ING Direct customers in the dark.
