On or about XX/XX/XXXX I began having difficulty with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and could not get help with service for my home television system provided by XXXXCountless service attempts failed and was without service for XXXX months plus.I finally encountered an honest technician who advised of a lawsuit with XXXX XXXX XXXX and that the company wasn't able to resolve the service issue I was having.The XXXX XXXX said it was the equipment was not compatible in some areas and systems.I called on XXXX cancel my account and was told a supervisor would have to approve my cancelation.Spoke to ( XXXX ) and she agreed to have Supervisor contact me, however I advised her I was cancelling as of XX/XX/XXXX. I never received any contact from XXXX, even after multiple calls to them. I went into storefront to speak to supervisor for help and he said on next statement it shows account cancelled. My bill for XX/XX/XXXX was XXXXThe supervisor said the cancelation amount was adjusted to {$220.00} and that he mailed me an new payment notice which i have and provided to all parties to resolve and close the account. On XX/XX/XXXX I mailed check XXXX ( XXXX ) to XXXX as final payment..I sought legal counsel and was advised that XXXX often delays cancelling to keep account charges ongoing. After providing the letter of dispute, multiple copies of documents, proof of payment, sending Certified letters to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX finally removed the derogatory and false claim of debt from my Credit Bureau on XX/XX/XXXX. Eventually my credit profile was reported correctly and the matter resolved and closed. On or about XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( according to a phone representative ) sold files of personal consumer information to Southwest Credit Systems, and my resolved and closed file was reopened and yet again derogatory Credit information was wrongly reported to the Credit agencies causing a XXXX drop in my Credit score. This has to be against all laws of Credit fairness and Consumer Prtection laws. I need help in bringing this matter to someone's attention, as I'm sure there are other consumers plagued by these predators.. If any of the documents are needed, I am happy to provide copies ( 100 % ) of the certified letters and proof of payment to the CFPB. Additionally I am sending copies of files again to the reporting agencies along with a Consumer Statement to each agency.Any help to bring these tactics to a close for me is appreciated.
