I am filing this complaint against Equifax for failing to comply with several provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically : 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) : Duty to ensure maximum possible accuracy of the information on my credit report. 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 : Obligation of furnishers to provide accurate information. 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 5 ) : Duty to investigate and remove inaccurate or incomplete information. 15 U.S.C. 1681c ( c ) : Restrictions on reinsertion of previously deleted information without proper notice.
