Recently the CFPB fined XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for failure to conduct proper investigations of consumer disputes. The CFPB found XXXX ignored consumer documents and evidence submitted with disputes. There is a bankruptcy appearing in my Credit report. I disputed this item with TransUnion and the Data Furnisher XXXX XXXX. The Data Furnisher, XXXX XXXX agreed, removed the item and provided me with written proof. ( see attached ). To spite written proof from the Data Furnisher, TransUnion did not remove the item. I submitted a request for a reinvestigation. I requested evidence ( physically verifiable ) that they verified the information to be accurate and compliant. TransUnion verified the information via a third party other than the Original data furnisher and ignored the 100 % verifiable proof from the Data Furnisher that the item was inaccurate and should be removed. This is the exact conduct that led the CFPB to fine XXXX XXXX XXXX dollars.
