Consumer Narrative
1. Multiple Hard Inquiries : In XXXX, I purchased an automobile from XXXX XXXX XXXX. During this process, multiple inquiries were made to my credit file without my full knowledge or consent. The inquiries were made by XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, all dated XX/XX/XXXX. The only inquiry that is correct is XXXX XXXX which is who I financed with. Under the FCRA ( 15 U.S.C. 1681b ), credit inquiries must be authorized and have a permissible purpose. These redundant inquiries negatively impact my credit score and were not fully disclosed to me at the time of the transaction. In addition, I request the immediate deletion of these inquiries from my credit report under the premise of unauthorized access and procedural non-compliance. 2. Mortgage Payment Reporting Error : We have been paying our mortgage as agreed since the inception of the loan, consistently making payments in advance. The mortgage company was scheduled to begin automatic deductions for XX/XX/XXXX, but they failed to do so. As a result, I manually made the payment on XX/XX/XXXX, and subsequently paid XXXX 's amount on XX/XX/XXXX. Despite this, the credit bureaus are inaccurately reporting a late payment for XX/XX/XXXX. Under the FCRA ( 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) ), credit reporting agencies must ensure maximum possible accuracy of the information they report. I have previously provided proof of payment and request immediate removal of this incorrect late payment reporting as it does not reflect the true status of my mortgage account.
