There was an atm deposit error. A check that was made for {$1000.00} was read by the atm as {$7000.00}. Then the bank debited my account {$6000.00} to correct the error. Then after debiting the funds, they put a hold on my account for the whole {$7000.00} therefore making my account negative and giving me no access to any of my money I had previously before this transaction. When I called the bank and asked why they put a hold on funds they already debited from my account they said it would take a week before I had access to any of my funds in my account therefore any bills coming out of my account will be returned and I will be getting charged which I believe is absolutely appalling since I had funds in my account prior to this transaction. They offered no explanation or assistance to resolve the issue quicker than a week.
