Jefferson capital systems sent a letter to my place of employment. No where on the letter does it state private or confidential, or for me personally. As they are aware, in most companies, one person will open the mail. Due to this they basically shared information about an account with multiple subordinates. This letter was not an attempt to verify information or to get contact information, instead this was a settlement offer, which I believe is a violation of the FCRA. As stated, a professional company knows mail is opened by a few people. I had moved, but all my mail was forwarded, so they would have had my home mailing address. Doing some light research, it appears this is common with this company to try and shame people and or embarass them at their place of employment. I have tried to contact them to work this out, they have decided they do not wish too
