A collection was filed and entered onto my credit information inappropriately. The collection company - XXXX XXXX XXXX - has repeatedly supported the validity of the collection action. It involves supposed back rent due from an apartment complex I previously lived in. I voluntarily moved out of the complex but instead the management company XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX filed an eviction suit in the XXXX, Ohio XXXX XXXX which was dismissed in a court hearing. So - since the management company filed a suit that was dismissed immediately by the judge they decided to file a collection entry on my credit file. This should NOT have been entered into my credit report. The entry was made by the management company out of spite because they could not collect the debt and it was considered as noncollectable in court. There is a law either in Ohio or or Federally that states a debt in the category such as my debt can not be collected IF the person lives on Social Security which I do. Since the debt can not be collected because of the law that is in effect the debt should NOT be on my credit report. I have filed several disputes with Experian concerning this debt but Experian refuses to even acknowledge all information I have sent to them concerning the debt and simply refuses to remove it from my credit report. This is considered to be illegal refusal by Experian. I simply wish Experian to remove the collection entry on my credit report because of the previous information I listed earlier in this message. However, Experian will not even acknowledge the information the I have submitted to them several times and states the entry is valid as filed by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I need assistance from you, please, in getting Experian to remove the entry on my credit report. I would thank you so very much for your assistance with this issue.
