I recently received a letter from Milestone ( Concordia Credit ) stating that they are now going to charge a set up and maintenance fee for an annual cost of {$230.00} to be billed on a monthly basis of {$19.00}. The letter states that I have the right to opt out of this charge by calling them or writing to them. I called them today to advise them that I am not interested in paying this horribly high fee especially since I have already been billed my annual fee of {$49.00}. which is on my recent statement. The letter states that by rejecting this fee that there would be no other changes to my account with them. But, when I called them I was advised that by rejecting this high fee that I would be required to close my account. I have been an excellent customer of the credit card company. I am enclosing a copy of this letter.
