I was not aware of being signed up for Auto Pay Plus when I got my loan through the auto dealership I recently found out that my payments were being automatically withdrawn from my account by a third party Auto Pay Plus so I looked them up and I see that there are fees for using their service a program fee monthly fees yeah yeah I added it up it was over just under {$500.00} since the beginning of the year besides the accelerated payment was just made and all of the program fees were already satisfied so they were not able to cancel and give me my money back but they could cancel without a refund. They reassured me that the first accelerated payment they made went all towards principal I looked up on their website and it also says that they guarantee that the accelerated payment goes all towards principal because and not interest. I went and looked at my statement on the loan 's account page for the financing company it shows the payment was made on the XXXX of XX/XX/year> and go to autopay Plus 's website says the accelerated payment was made on that day same amounts and but on my credit union page it shows that only a portion of that accelerated payment went towards principal the rest went towards interest. I don't have any paperwork from the dealership that says anything about using a third party or Auto Pay Plus or any fees I don't recall receiving anything from auto pay plus regarding anything I definitely did not get a text from them saying hey you were signed up for this read over this etc. I believe both the auto dealership and Auto Pay Plus need to be held accountable
