On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Federal Student Aid thanking me for my public service and that my student loans had 192 payments and the effective date of forgiveness was XX/XX/XXXX. This letter stated, " Your loan servicer will send you communication about PSLF/TEPSLF forgiveness within 30 business days. It has been 6 months and I have not received anything from my servicer XXXX as this letter stated I would. I have contacted Federal Student Aid three times from when this letter was sent starting in XXXX, XXXX and as recent at XX/XX/XXXX. Each time I have contacted Federal Student Aid they have told me that my loans have been forgiven but I just need to wait. What am I waiting for, it has been 6 months. In addition they can't tell me why I continue to have a balance and what the problem is. How can they send me a letter telling me my loans have been forgiven and I would receive communication within 30 days and then for 6 months tell me to just wait without telling me what the problem is? This is completely fraudulent. I have contacted my servicer XXXX and they tell me to contact Federal Student Aid. I continue to have a loan balance and a monthly payment. I now have 195 qualifying payments towards this loan.
