I am writing to dispute inaccurate information contained in my Credit Report - XXXX, date XXXX. Upon reviewing my XXXX credit report, I discovered multiple issues regarding the accuracy of the account for the Navient listing. There are multiple inaccuracies, to include inaccuracies regarding the reason for transferring the account, the date of account transfer, the company to which the account was transferred to, the accuracy of the account payment history status, and possible duplicative entries- Navient and the Dept of Ed reporting the same information and account balance on the same dates. I am requesting that XXXX investigate and verify the items outlined below. I have attempted to address these items in previous disputes and had to contact the CFPB for further support. These issues are unfairly harming my credit score and violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), which ensures that credit reports contain only accurate, complete, and verifiable information. XXXX. Navient Account Number : XXXX Issue : The comment on this account states ACCOUNT TRANSFERRED OR SOLD STUDENT LOAN 180 DAYS OR MORE PAST DUE. Navient 's contract with the Department of Education to service Direct Loans ended in XXXX. Navient was mandated by the Department of Education to transfer the loan. Requested Action : Investigate the date of transfer, the reason for the transfer, and the name of the company the account was transferred to. Update entry based on results of investigation.
