Consumer Narrative

After several disputes being returned as accurate with multiple agencies and the creditor even though they are all reporting different information for the same item, I am filing this complaint with the following evidence. On XX/XX/XXXX I submtted a dispute via certified mail to XXXX, Equifax, and XXXX regarding a violation of 15 U.S. Code 1681e ( b ) on a reported item XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX. All companies responded that the information was verified with XXXX and accurate. This can not be accurate as different amounts, dates, and information are being reported to different credit agencies. I also sent a certified mail validation and verification letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX sent me a letter stating all information is being reported correctly to the credit agencies. This can not be accurate as different amounts, dates, and information are being reported to different credit agencies that are claiming they have verified these items with XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX sent me a letter stating that they do not fall under the FCRA as they are not a debt collection company and that they are reporting information based on their files. XXXX can not be reporting accurately as different amounts, dates, and information are being reported to XXXX different credit agencies that are all claiming they have verified these items with XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX I received another letter from XXXX stating they have investigated the matter again and have found they are reporting accurately to the credit bureaus. Also that they consider the matter resolved and will not respond to additional inquiries unless new information is provided. As stated before they can not be reporting accuately as XXXX different credit agencies are reporting different information. After each dispute XXXX of the agencies will either remove the information all together or not at all instead of removing the item for the violation. On XX/XX/XXXX Equifax sent me a letter stating that they would not process my dispute due to identification issues ( CFPB Complaint # XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX sent me a letter acknowledging receipt of dispute and a copy of my credit report but did not process the dispute nor update me. They did however " update '' information on my credit report. If the creditor is reporting information to these agencies then why are they reporting inaccurately or removing just the disputed information and not the item itself? Also, if XXXX is allegedly reporting the same " accurate '' information then why does each agency possess different information for the same items?
