Consumer Narrative
On XX/XX/XXXX, I went to XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX to finance a used XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. on that day I went with my friend, and she cosigned for the vehicle for me because I didn't have any credit because I was fresh with my document. We didn't know what to expect when buy I car because it my first and her first going through the procedure with me. it was getting later there was a bit of a rush I gave them all my document they ask for they ask me for {$1000.00} down payment and then proceed to showed me the car inside and outside that day they didn't run over all the information about the vehicle with me all I was told to say yes when I go on the phone with American credit acceptance. they coach me along the way while I was on the with them with me not understanding what going on all I wanted was get a good working vehicle to take me and my young baby around and to school and work not know that they were pushing a faulty vehicle on me because in XX/XX/XXXX that very same year my car shut down on me in the XXXX XXXX XXXX won't turn on. I call the dealership where I got the car from the representative XXXX told me to take the car to the nearest XXXX dealership and get it diagnose so I get a tow truck company to towed my vehicle to in XX/XX/XXXX to the XXXX dealership on XXXX XXXX in XXXX which I did get the diagnose and there finding was an electrical issue that hit the engine, and it will cost me {$7000.00} to fix the issue. remind you I don't know anything about the car details. then in come with XXXX where all of us in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and everywhere was shut down. my vehicle sits in the dealership parking lot and nobody giving me a solution to fixed it. everyone pointing fingers. American Credit Acceptance knowing my complaint and issue that I don't have the vehicle for so many years and paying them but to offer me settlement while they are reporting on my credit that I owed them {$4700.00}. The dealership doesn't want to fix the vehicle, nor do they want to give me back another car since I was paying for a car that I don't have in my position for so many years tell me to continue making payments this is highway robbery. so unprofessional nobody wants to solve this issue, they are just spinning me around in circle. All these years not having the vehicle American credit acceptance receiving payment every month but don't want to give me a vehicle nor do they want to take that account off my credit. these people are such a scam.
