Over the course of ten minutes I was called from the same phone from XXXX, CA XXXX twice on my home phone and twice on my cell phone. After holding for over 30 seconds after a person answered for someone else to come on the phone, they claimed they were from Experian and wanted to ask me about a supposed credit card application I submitted in XXXX Texas. When I asked for details they talked in circles and said they were trying to protect me by not approving the application, but when I said it was fraudulent and not to approve it they wanted more of my information. I tried contacting Experian directly, but they won't take emails and won't connect you to a person without you giving them your SSN. This is absurd and absolutely pitiful customer service.
