I leased a VW XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX NJ back in XX/XX/year>. The dealer was supposed to take care of the paperwork so that I could receive my license plates. After 2 temp plates were given to me, the last one which expired on XX/XX/year>, I was told they couldnt issue me another. I was then told the dealership was sold and the old owner went to XXXX XXXX XXXX NJ. Because of this transaction their DMV people were unable to issue my plates due to the title being lost in the process. Since the weeks of me complaining I couldnt drive my vehicle on the road legally in NJ, I was issue a loaner car by XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/year> to try to remedy the situation until they could get plates for me. No XXXX from XXXX XXXX has explained to me why its taking so long to provide my vehicle. In this time I have paid 3 car notes to the financing company, 3 car insurance payments for a vehicle Im not in possession of. Not only that Ive been paying for gas out of my own pocket when under my electric vehicle contract on my XXXX, I get free charges for the 3 years Im in my lease contract. So now Im coming out of pocket for gas for 3 months and I never was supposed to have the loaner car in the first place. I was even told by XXXX XXXX they werent responsible for covering the gas charges. They refuse to update me on the status and I keep getting the run around. I even called VW corporate to complain and still received no results. Im tired and frustrated and I know this is against the law. I need help!!!!!
