Hello, I signed for National Debt Relief service to help negotiate settlements on my credit card accounts in 2024. They collected {$3500.00}, they only made payments of that for {$1200.00} which was 4 payments of {$320.00} to XXXX XXXX. They only negotiated this ONE card of the many accounts I gave them. By XXXX I still had not obtained fulltime employment and I could no longer afford the payments. I called them to cancel and get a refund. They cancelled right away but REFUSED any REFUND! So, on 1 account that was not completed in the payments for the settlement, they said the balance I see as a refund... .they said was their FEE! WOW! I am formally filing a complaint against National Debt Relief for unscrupulous devious business practices. They told me their fee was only 8 % of the negotiated debt /Settlement amount agreed on. That would have made their fee ( 8 % on {$7700.00} ) = {$610.00}. They lied. Their fee, according to them ... ..is net {$2200.00}, on a paid balance of {$1200.00}. DOES THIS SOUND ETHICAL & FAIR to the CONSUMER? I want my refund after their 8 % fee {$610.00}. My refund should be {$1600.00} ( {$2200.00} less {$610.00} ) Thank you, XXXX XXXX
