Consumer Narrative

In these complaints, I have problems with Home Equity Line of Credit account ( recently ), Investment account, Business Checking Account & Regular Checking account during the 20 years+ that I have been doing business with PNC . I have been with National Bank for 20+ years & then PNC took over at one point. There are so many occasions that I am unhappy with the bank. I opened a business account in the lateXXXX XXXX, I wrote a small amount of business checking to pay employees, and there was no problem. Until one day the disgraced female manager at the XXXX XXXX location called me to notify me that someone forced my check or something like that & asked me to drop by at her location. She showed me the check, I told her I wrote that check. I just realized that the bank printed the wrong account no. on the check but the bank put a new sticker over the accountno. with the correct account no. & passed thechecks every time. She had the assistant manager order me the new businesschecking with the correct account no. ( in large quantities ) & charged my account for it ( around {$90.00} ). I called her, she said she would take care of it but thisdisgraced manager never did & denied that she eversaid that. Since then I never stepped into that location again for many years & I heard that she had been fired from the Bank because she messed up so many things. I rarely wrote that business checking account & I still have a ton of these checkings left. I also can't use these business checks any more because it changed the name from National Bank to PNC. The bank also changed to therequirement from no minimum to {$1000.00} minimum account balance at some point which I never knew. I don't know how many times the bank charged me these fees because I usually never check my statement. Yes, print check fee + balance fees =??? I told XXXX who became the manager at the PNC Bank on XXXX XXXX. more than a few years ago ( I believe before Covid ). She told me that it was silly that I still kept this business account that required a minimum balance because of the checking fees that the bank charged me. She notified someone & that person checked it out & told her that the bank didn't charge me for the check fee which was " wrong or incorrect ''. There was a new manager ( XXXX ) who was unfriendly ( before XXXX ), to replace the previous super nice & friendly manager ( XXXX XXXX, he was the reason I switched mybank to National City & all his teams in the bank are supernice & friendly ). I felt unfriendly & unsincerity with XXXX so I stopped going tothis location ( XXXX XXXX ). One year, he intentionally rejected the check that I wrote to pay for property taxes, even though he knew that I had money in my other account whichI transferredmoney from time to time to cover thecheck I wrote, etc. That's how the bank does business & treats their long-time customers, I was so disappointed. I also heard that many people do not like XXXX, I also stop to go to this location for many years ( XXXX XXXX ). I'm sure theBank loveshim because he makes a lot of money for the bank. If it's not because I have a home equity line of credit, I would switch the bank a long time ago. When the new financial advisor encouraged me to transfer my investment account from XXXX XXXX to PNC. He didn't disclosethat XXXX XXXX would charge me some fees. If I knew I would not close my Investment account at XXXX XXXX unless PNC offered compensation to me. Bank always offers incentives to new customers to open a new account. This is another fact that Bank just takes advantage of their customers for their benefit. One time, I went to the bank on XXXX location in XXXX to do a few things. I showed the employee the XXXX XXXX check that was less than {$10.00} & just past 3 months. He told me to deposit it, then I got charged {$10.00} fee for a stale check whentheir employee banker told me to deposit it. Yes, the fee is more than the deposit check amount & the bank enjoys charging fees to their customers/clients. PNC bank charged me so many unreasonable fees on several occasions, I lost count. Since XXXX XXXX, the nice manager was not there anymore, I don't know who to communicate with or ask for help because most of them are not friendly or helpful. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX from PNC XXXX XXXX left a message on my voicemail.I called back on XX/XX/XXXX, the lady answered the phone ( might be '' XXXX or XXXX '' ), she aggressively harassed me without telling me the reasons even when I repeatedly asked for the reason. I asked her if I forgot to make the payment, etc. she still behaved the same way & it had been going on for several minutes. Until I told her that I have been with the bank for over 20 years, this is how she treated their customers. Now she soften her tone of voice & told me about the reason for the call ( harassment ). I told her that I have been harrassed by the XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX makes up & exaggerates everything ) & she could follow my case from the docket online. I was XXXX at the PNC on several occasions & all the fees that they charged to my account. So I made the payment to the principal of my home equity line of credit on XX/XX/XXXX before the due date ( XX/XX/XXXX ) for {$600.00} and I made the payment to the " principal only '' a couple of times before with no problem ( XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX ). But this time PNC charged me the late fee of {$50.00} & stated that I owed 3 times the amount due ( {$1500.00} ) & demanded me to pay this amount in full. Then I made the payment on XX/XX/XXXX of {$600.00} ( I always paid this amount, the regular payment is {$500.00} ) & still claimed that I still owed {$140.00}. So I paid {$140.00} on XX/XX/XXXX but it was posted on XX/XX/XXXX & PNC still charged me the late fee of {$50.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I made the next payment of {$600.00} on XX/XX/XXXX which was 1 day before the due date & PNC still charged me a {$50.00} late fee on XX/XX/XXXX. I noticed the pop-up on my phone recently from PNC so I searched & found that PNC sent me an email on : XX/XX/XXXX stated that my Home Equity line due in the amount of {$1000.00} XX/XX/XXXX stated that PNC has not received my payment of {$170.00} XX/XX/XXXX stated that my PNC account past due in the amount of {$170.00} I doubt that since I opened PNC Home Equity Line of Credit, PNC has correctly updated & credit my payments properly, especially when I made 2 payments on the same day & at thesame time ( 1 payment almost a month in advance ). It looked like PNC gave me the credit the same amount to the interest & principals which the 2nd payment should reflectmore with principles & interest differently. PNC has done many things wrong andkeeps charging fees to their customers. Whatever they think they can get away with it. Please investigate. Yes, I don't have income for almost 3 years now & I need help. I have been withdrawn money from my investment account to pay the mortgage & living expenses. This is my breaking-point whenPNC Bank harassed me about my mortgage ( harassing phone call & several exaggerating late fees ), manyfees from the bank, large amount of undisclosed fees related to the Investment account ( from XXXX XXXX ) , etc. If it's hard to understand because English is my 2nd language, I tried to explain to the best of my ability. There are a lot more things that happen to my accounts than in this complaint because it has been 20+ years.
