I am filing this complaint regarding the inconsistent reporting of the closed date for an XXXX XXXX account ( Account # XXXX ) on my credit reports from Experian and XXXX. Both credit bureaus have verified and updated the account as accurate, yet the reported closed dates differ significantly : Experian reports the closed date as XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX reports the closed date as XX/XX/XXXX. This discrepancy is a clear violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and raises serious concerns about the accuracy and reliability of the information being reported on my credit file. Specifically, the following FCRA provisions are applicable : FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) : Furnishers of credit information must provide accurate and consistent information to credit reporting agencies.
