On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX I received the below email from CoinBase ( CB ). When I checked my account, I could not find in any evidence that my account had increased by {$980.00} of USD. When I contacted CoinBase 's support, they asked me to verify the transaction. I told them that I made a transacton of near {$1000.00} USD on XX/XX/XXXX and after fees, assume that this was referencing the {$980.00} however CoinBase 's customer service was of no help. They asked for a copy of the email, which I provided but the customer service agent kept repeating himself. The agent 's name is " XXXX '' and we kept going in circles. It's unbelieveable to me, that CB, would send out such an email without having an acocunting of what it's referring to. I'd appreciate CFPB helping me get to the bottom of this.
