Consumer Narrative

Transunion is reporting XXXX Account Numbers XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, & XXXX as a charge-offs in the amounts of {$1300.00}, {$440.00}, {$740.00}, & {$210.00}, respectively. . My Rights. 15 U.S.C1681 section 602 A states I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C1681 section 604 A. section 2 also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. 15 U.S.C1681c. ( XXXX ) section states, a person shall not furnish any information relating to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or have reasonable cause that the information is inaccurate. The FCRA does not allow income to be reported on a consumer 's credit report because it violates privacy and income is not considered relevant for determining credit risk. Although the original creditor has already received a tax break for writing these 4 accounts off as profit loss and reported said accounts to the IRS as my income ( via the 1099-C that I never received ), the accounts continue to be reported as charge-offs on my credit file. The FCRA does not allow income to be reported on a consumer 's credit report The inaccurate representation of income as charge-offs on my credit report grounds me to seek statutory damages and the involvement of the IRS. Due to said charge-offs on my credit report, recent loan and charge card applications were denied. Additionally, the inaccurate representation of income as charge-offs on my credit file, prohibits me from purchasing a home, causing emotional distress.
