I tried signing up for Experian to place a freeze on my credit. They froze my credit but stated they could not verify my identity to create an account and offered no solutions to it. I am now trying to unfreeze my credit with Experian so I can apply for a credit card. They continue to state they can not verify my identity on the account so will not take any further action. I have tried calling 2 separate customer service numbers ( the only ones I can find on the website ) and they are automated systems that will not connect me to a representative or resolve the issue as I do not have a pin number ( I never received one from Experian ). I have attempted to verify my information online with Experian and have heard nothing back. I attempted to download the app to try to access/ verify my account. It says my phone number is correct but will not send me a verification code to access my account. I have no idea what else to do or who else to contact to get my credit unfrozen.
