My father passed away XX/XX/year> and left house to us through a quitclaims deed which is filed through the local title company where we live and where the house is. This mortgage is through PHH and we have contacted them several times regarding assignments with this mortgage. We have filled out the needed paperwork for the forbearance and have sent the needed documentation that they requested as well. We have heard nothing regarding this case and when my sister or myself call for an update we are transferred to many different people whom all claim there is nothing on file regarding this. Different answers from each person. I know the information was received because I emailed everything and have the receipt email that it was received. We now are receiving letters from the company telling us the property is going to be foreclosed due to no payment. We have stated what we can pay monthly in the paperwork that they sent out and nothing has been replied too, only letters that stated the mortgage is in default due to no payment. We currently have it for sale and have excepted and offer and will be closing soon. The mortgage company will receive the amount in full that is owed and will be sent directly to them from our local title company when the closing takes place. When I requested a payoff letter they responded with the payoff letter but has not assisted in the response regarding the forbearance documents that was completed over 30 days ago. I have also requested information regarding a death clause that my father stated was on the mortgage as well but they claim nothing is listed on the mortgage regarding this, but can't provide me with the account information for me to go over. But they do state my full name is listed on the account right along with my sisters. I am requesting communication regarding these concerns and a response to the offer that we excepted involving the payoff of the mortgage in full and the needed paperwork to go over to see if any information is listed pertaining to the death of my father 's mortgage.
