Subject : Complaint Against Credit Reporting Agencies EXPERIAN, XXXX and XXXX for FCRA Violations- leading to request for Compensation of {$7500.00}. Dear CFPB, I am writing to formally file a complaint against the Credit reporting agencies listed above for their continuous inaccurate reporting ; failure to acknowledge complaints and Willful negligence concerning the XXXX student loan Acct # XXXX listed on my credit report prior for XXXX consecutive years. The Credit Reporting Agencies actions has violated my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) SPECIFICALLY under 15 USC 1681b. Despite numerous complaints submitted over the years, these reporting agencies consistently VERIFIED this account as accurate even though it exceeded the 7 year reporting period allowed under the ( FCRA ) per 15 USC 1681c ( a ). I submitted a claim with the CFPB on 8/14/2023 regarding XXXX and the Credit Reporting Agencies investigation into the existing issue and approximately around XX/XX/XXXX Experian, XXXX and XXXX ( Credit Agencies ) REMOVED XXXX Loan # XXXX - 1 ; off of my credit report. Arbitration/ Litigation Demand and Compensation Request Ignored `` Twice ''. No Response ___________________________ XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ; Dispute Letters with Invoices requesting compensation of {$7500.00} for ( FCRA Violations ) were mailed to the Credit Reporting Agencies ( Certified Mail ) expressing the inaccurate reporting by their merchant XXXX for Years prior ; that lead to the Credit Agencies " REMOVAL '' of this loan off my credit report. Approximately XXXX XXXX XXXX days after which is proof of claim, for Civil Liability for Willful noncompliance. These two dispute letters mailed to the Credit Reporting Agencies XX/XX/XXXX ; and XX/XX/XXXX Certified mail ; were to resolve the credit reporting agencies Removal of the XXXX student loan account on my credit report. Which after numerous attempts to rectify the inaccuracies that continuously came back VERIFIED by the credit reporting agencies since XXXX after numerous disputes ; 1 ) Requested Arbitration & Litigation Demand XX/XX/XXXX ; due to the various FCRA Violations and 2 ) XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ( Second Notice ) Requesting Compensation of {$7500.00} be forwarded to My checking acct # XXXX by the credit reporting agencies that were all disregarded with no response back. ( Please view receipts ) as both were delivered and signed by a representative of these reporting agencies. Which is another violation by the FCRA as legitimate response to my complaints should have been warranted and proof is shown of Willful noncompliance by these Credit Reporting Agencies. The FCRA, 15 USC 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) - B allows a consumer to recover " actual " damages as a result of these violations. Any person who willfully fails to comply with any requirement imposed under this subchapter with respect to any consumer is liable to that consumer. Please view Supporting evidence attached ___________________________ Desired Resolution ___________________________ I am requesting the CFPB : 1 ) Investigate the actions of Experian, XXXX and XXXX for violating the FCRA ; Act ; 2 ) Ensure the Credit Reporting Agencies provide a prompt response to my {$7500.00} compensation request for damages due to Financial loss of credit ; loans and obtaining a Mortgage that has resulted to statutory damages resulting from continuous inaccurate credit reporting ; 3 ) Enforce penalties and/or other corrective actions as appropriate under the law. These Credit Agencies actions represent clear Willful noncompliance and neglect of my consumer rights. I seek your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you for your time and attention.
