On XX/XX/year>, I applied for a loan through the website ( eloanwarehouseXXXX ) which included my name, job, income, reason for applying ( which was moving ), and social security number. After pre-approval online, the next step was for me to call a number to finish the approval process, I called the number listed : ( XXXX ) XXXX. The representative walked me through the process of verifying my income through an online bank verification platform called XXXX. He sent me a link via email and by text message. I clicked the XXXX link, selected my bank, and logged into my bank to share my information for income verification. After completion he asked me to do an online ID verification by sending me another link via email and text. I clicked the link and it was a platform that verified identities I took a snapshot of my ID, front and back then it asked me to scan my face side to side. After the identity verification, he told me to wait a few moments while he gets final approval. At this moment I could hear other people talking in the background, and I felt like it was a scam. He came back and told me that I was approved for {$1000.00} he read me my terms and conditions, and my bi-weekly payment amounts. He told me to accept the terms and conditions via email. He asked for my debit card number to instantly send the funds. After I gave it to him, he processed it, and he said oh, come on! What should I do? Then the phone went silent. At this moment I knew it was a scam and got worried. He came back XXXX seconds later and said my bank is blocking the deposit. I need to call them to unblock it. After he hung up, I logged into my online bank account and it was locked. I called XXXX XXXX explained what happened, and they confirmed that it was scammers, they immediately closed my account and reset everything. I upgraded my Iphone, and reset my password. I havent heard from the company since the XXXX
