Attempted to pay my loan off in full before the due date ( due date XX/XX/year> ) Paid full amount of {$5600.00} on XX/XX/year>. A full WEEK later ( XX/XX/year> ) received notification from Nelnet that my payment " could not be processed '' and they have now tacked on a late fee and additional interest to my total balance. They included no additional information about why my payment was denied. Website has no separate full pay off link, must be done through regular payment portal. Bank did not deny payment, it never even went through and yes, the routing and account numbers were entered correctly. Now, Nelnet is saying I owe them {$5600.00} ( a small increase but it's the principal! I paid them!!!!!! )
