I have been on the SAVE plan since implementation. Previously I was ALWAYS on an IDR plan in dealing with payments on my student loans. Under SAVE during the federal court injunction, no interest is supposed to accrue on my loans. Nelnet has over $ XXXX in accrued interest on my loan account since XX/XX/year>. How is this possible when my loans are protected under the SAVE plan injunction? I want the accrued interest removed and my loan reviewed for other servicing errors. I have asked Nelnet repeatedly to send me a letter advising as to how many more years I must pay under the IDR and/or SAVE plan on my loans. This is considering that my XXXX loans have been paid on well more than 20 years. I never get a response from the servicer, and I need to know what I am looking at as far as when these loans will be discharged. I want accrued interest taken off my loan and a fair accounting of how many more years I am stuck paying these loans off.
