There was a first CFPB complaint that I had made to Huntington regarding fraudulent behavior at the bank closing my account. There was a resolution drafted by Huntington regarding this fraudulent closing of my account that indicated all related Huntington accounts were closed ( attached ) on XXXX. I made a second complaint regarding additional email harassment from Huntington and being locked out of my Huntington online account since the first complaint was filed on XXXX because I wanted to try turning off the emails on their website. Regarding this second complaint, I received a letter ( attached ) on XXXX stating that Huntington has a Standby Cash account connected to my Checking account which I had understood was closed based on the Huntington resolution to my first CFPB complaint on XXXX. The statements Huntington provided with this letter clearly state " YOUR ACCOUNT IS CURRENTLY CLOSED ''. In addition, the letter explicitly states " that as of the date of this letter you have no open accounts with Huntington. '' The date of that letter is XXXX. Huntington very clearly indicated in their letter and response to my first CFPB complaint that all of my Huntington accounts were closed. This was again confirmed in the letter and response to my second CFPB complaint however Huntington is now fraudulently requesting payments for an account they admit is closed after they barred me from doing business with them and cost me hundreds of dollars in time having to change bank accounts and re-route all my bill payments. Huntington also continues to block me from accessing my account on their website where I could potentially turn off their emails which continue to harass.
