I thought I was signing up for a space in a vendor XXXX fair but I was scammed from a bogus website that looked like the original site. I was required to pay through XXXX and they kept adding more and more charges. I immediately contacted Capital One who opened a fraud complaint but they denied it and told me to deal with the merchant after they told me to not deal with the merchant. I reported this to XXXX who did nothing. The person is still active and harassing me. They admitted they were frauds but Capital One said I willingly paid them. I paid for a service that was never received and despite me appealing the decision, Capital One never responded to my appeal. They basically laughed at me and said too bad. I want XXXX taken off their app and my money refunded. They won't take any responsibility. I have a download of the entire conversation with the scammer from XXXX.
