Our TD XXXX Auto Loan was marked with a late payment. The reason it was late was because we took out a HELOC which would pay off several debts in full, including this loan. I attempted to notify TD XXXX twice in writing and once via phone call that the check was in the mail, they mentioned on the call that they would note the account so it wouldn't be marked late. It now shows a late payment on our credit reports even though the check has been cashed and the loan paid off. When we called, we spoke to XXXX to and they acknowledged and said it wouldn't be marked late.
