On XX/XX/XXXX we made two large payments on the loan to satisfy multiple months in advance. The amounts totaled {$5100.00}. The monthly amount due is only {$510.00}. This lump sum payment should have been satisfactory for 10-months i.e. no additional payment to this loan would be required until XXXX of XXXX. The payment was not allocated properly by the company and we began to receive debt collection notices as recently as XXXX. Despite nearly a dozen calls, the company has been unwilling to adjust the payments to be correctly allocated in the intended manor. This has resulted in unfair collection attempts and undeserved negative marks on our credit.
