XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I was granted an executed Loan Modification Agreement from my mortgage company Ocwen Loan Servicing LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Fl. XXXX I purchased a property before the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX the address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Minnesota XXXX Loan number XXXX it was one of those XX/XX/XXXX balloon loans. The loan was deemed illegal and the Minnesota Attorney General XXXX XXXX sued the Minnesota based company XXXX XXXX XXXX and its CEO ) for the horrible misjustice. the company was dissolved and the Federal Government helped consumers get those bad loans modified. I have the original agreement, page 2 section 2 titled The Modification clearly states A the New Principal Balance ; B. The Deferred Principal Balance ; XXXX Forgiveness of Deferred Principal Balance and XXXX. Interest Bearing Principal Balance and Interest Rate. From this date until XXXX XXXX I paid on time, I was sent notices about the Forgiveness of the Deferred Principal Balance. ( I do not have any of those notices of forgiveness ) However it was forgiven. Fast forward ; XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I put the property on the market to sell. This sell was contingent on my selling this property to purchase a smaller property as I was downsizing for my old age and retirement. Underwriting discovered that OcwenXXXX PHH/ XXXX XXXX not only did not honor their own modification agreement from 10 years ago. They had it laying dormmate and attached it as an XXXX dollar lien against my home. They slow walked this information until XX/XX/XXXX. they took the opportunity to resurrect a entire new account with an entirely new account number ( XXXX ) with no past due or future payments, but instead attached it to my property as a lien that stopped the sell of my home and purchase of the new townhome I was going to purchase. The domino affect caused every account I have to fall into default including the mortgage. I had made payoff promises to all of my debtors. My credit score went from XXXX to where it stands today. Im not even sure I stopped looking. I have been forced to file for XXXX XXXX bankruptcy, the issues with the mortgage company has put that in jeopardy. Fast forward to : XX/XX/XXXX I called to make bring my account up to date they denied me by saying I was 91 days late. The agent told me that I had no choice but to do another modification. I did not complete any application, I had no valuation or inspection completed on my property. On XX/XX/XXXX I had not heard anything from them. on XX/XX/XXXX I called them and I was told by 2 of their agents that I could reinstate my account by paying XXXX by XX/XX/XXXX, I asked why wasnt I given that option a month ago when I tried to bring the account up to date. the agent did not have and explanation but assured me that the XXXX would make the threats of foreclosure stop. I asked twice about the amount, again I was assured, today XX/XX/XXXX I received and email stating that the amount was now XXXX. I spent XXXX hours on the phone being put on hold and disconnected after holding on for a supervisor for XXXX minutes, I called back and was told the agents should have not given me a set total of XXXX. Again I asked for a supervisor. again I was told none were available and they would put in a request for someone to call me tomorrow XXXX, again slow walking me. I need help. I have all of the documentation except the letters of forgiveness. Please help, I am sure Im not the only one caught in this nightmare. Please, Respectfully XXXX XXXX XXXX
