Subject : Complaint Regarding Violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and Truth in Lending Act ( TILA ) I am submitting this complaint regarding violations of my rights as a consumer under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Truth in Lending Act ( TILA ) by Experian .I have enclosed a copy my Police Report/FTC identity theft report ( FTC REPORT NUMBER XXXX XXXX ) to support my identity theft claim. Under 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 when a consumer submits an identity theft report, credit reporting agencies must block any information identified by the consumer as resulting from identity theft within four business days. Despite my previous correspondence Letter 1 and Letter 2, which requested the removal of the above-mentioned account due to inaccuracies and failure to validate the information as required by law, Experian has not conducted a proper investigation nor provided the required documentation. Reasons for Complaint : 1. Violation of the FCRA : o Investigation Requirements ( 15 U.S.C. 1681i ) : Your verification response did not include a sufficient description of the investigation process, as required by the FCRA.
